Key Responsibilities:
Whilst on placement with us your main responsibilities will include:
- Assist in client assessments (discipline dependant), including but not limited to, Workplace Assessments, Vocational Assessments, Activities of Daily Living Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments & Functional Assessments.
- Assist with writing assessment reports.
- Attend and actively participate in medical case conferences.
- Support with case management by liaising with treating parties and other stakeholders, through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails and video conferencing.
- Assist with documenting of file notes, letters to treating parties and progress reports, through use of internal client database system
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and professional development sessions.
- Travelling to and from appointments
- Assist with assigned quality improvement projects
Requirements:
- You must already be studying a tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Passionate about potential career in occupational rehabilitation.
- Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
