IIME is a global leader in providing expert medical opinions on medico-legal and insurance matters, affiliated with the renowned Altius Group. We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Medical Services Manager to join our Victorian-based team in Hawthorn East.

In this full-time, office-based role, you will leverage your clinical expertise and exceptional organisational skills to oversee the day-to-day management of the Medical Law team, ensuring that the right experts are engaged for each case and that high-quality, timely reports are delivered. You will also play a crucial role in driving business growth and fostering relationships with stakeholders, including lawyers and medical professionals.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Medical Law team, overseeing daily operations.
  • Drive business development, attend client meetings, and onboard new specialists.
  • Recruit and recommend experts for medico-legal cases.
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality assurance of expert reports.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support staff onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and professional communication.
To be successful, you will have:
  • A health qualification and current registration with a professional body (e.g., Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing).
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, independent work style with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Desirable: Experience in healthcare, insurance, or previous management roles.
